701 Lebanese Verbs

The new book has been out for some time and it has been doing well. I hope that this book will be a good companion to many, and I also hope that it will give a useful insight on the structure of the spoken Lebanese language. The Lebanese verbs have proven to follow a very systematic process in terms of conjugation, and this book will allow you to conjugate any (and I mean ANY) Lebanese verb in almost all the tenses.

What you will also notice is that Lebanese verbs are unique, highly structured and completely different from Arabic verbs in terms of their conjugation processes. To create a comprehensive categorical classification, the verbs have been classified into 68 categories, and any verb in the Lebanese language will fit under one of these categories and conjugate according to the rules that govern it.

You cannot apply the rules that govern Arabic verbs to Lebanese verbs. These are totally two different processes.

Lebanese Books

A great development is coming in the coming days for all of you who are looking for Children’s Books in the Lebanese language. Study Lebanese is teaming up with Black Pinnacle publications to bring you children’s books written in the Lebanese language using the LLL system.

These books are great for children, as well as for people trying to study and learn the Lebanese language.

Hopefully,  within two weeks you will see the first Lebanese children story available for purchase online. It will be available on studylebanese.com store as well as on Amazon.

Stay posted.

Online Course Launch Date

Due to the huge number of interested students, the online Lebanese language course will be changed from a course with a set date and meeting for lessons, to a fully automated set of lessons that the students can follow on their own pace.

When the course was launched the ambition was to give an online course that can handle a certain number of students. Because the amount of emails and interested people who want to learn the Lebanese language has become in the hundreds, this method would no longer be applicable or possible.

Therefore I am launching an automated curriculum that will teach the interested students the Lebanese language, without a necessity to attend a course or be available for lessons, whether online or in person. This means though that all resources have to be digitized, and presented in a proper format. Audio files will accompany all lessons, and video files will help students visualize the context of the language.

This means that students will be able to study at their own pace. The automated first level course is set to start hopefully in September. If anything changes, I will update this entry.

Learn Lebanese

The Lebanese language is not a complicated language. Learning Lebanese is a fairly easy process. In certain aspects, it is easier to learn than English, and in other aspects, it is more difficult, so learning Lebanese could be compared in difficulty to learning English or even Spanish.

Taking Lebanese language courses at studylebanese.com can help you achieve your goal of learning Lebanese, one course at a time. I have developed a complete curriculum to teach the Lebanese language based on over a decade of research and producing a wide variety of teaching resources from online lessons to exercises to audio and online interactive classes.

Be aware though that some sites that promote teaching Lebanese sometimes actually teach Arabic instead, or a variety of dialects that are spoken in the western Mediterranean. The only way to learn the Lebanese language is to specifically study the Lebanese language.
